 According to the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star Program, lighting consumes 25 to 40 percent of the energy used in commercial buildings. This has increased the demand for more energy-efficient lighting selections. Lighting within buildings accounts for 23 percent of national electrical consumption. MaxLite HighMax SKQ100EAWW, 100 Watt compact fluorescent bulb generates 6,900 lumens - the equivalent of a 500 incandescent bulb.
