 The goal of replacing a 100 watt incandescent light bulb with an LED light bulb has long been an impossibility, until now. With EvoLux, you can replace your short lifespan, 100 watt incandescent bulbs with a cool running LED bulb that will last for 50,000 hours. In order to create LED ( Light Emitting Diode ) light bulbs that can compete head to head with both CFL and high wattage incandescent bulbs, EarthLED started with the latest generation led chip light engine. They then added a revolutionary active cooling system that employs a silent long life internal fan to cool the heatsink. The entire housing is encased in ABS plastic to always ensure that the body of the EvoLux is cool to the touch. Combined, these technologies allow EarthLED to run the LED light chip at a high enough power output to provide amazing light that will fill a room.
The EarthLED EvoLux has just achieved another milestone for LED technology by becoming the first UL Listed and FCC approved LED light lamp for general household illumination. The UL listing further affirms the advanced safety technologies built into every EvoLux. In addition, the UL listing now allows the use of the EvoLux in facilities and buildings where this certification is required.
This EvoLux 6000 degrees Kelvin (K) cool white LED light consumes just 13 watts (12 watts typical) and operates on a wide range of input voltages - from 90 to 277 volt AC. These LED retrofit lights generate a luminous flux of 650 lumens and has a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 75. They produce an overall 180-degree beam angle providing light that will fill a room.
 Manufactured using the latest generation CREE LED light engine, the EvoLux LED bulbs are rated for a lifespan of 50,000 hours. These LED light bulbs fit fixtures with an E26 medium base. The bulb's dimensions are 2.55 inches wide by 5.47 inches MOL. The operating temperature range is -4 degrees to 113 degrees Fahrenheit with an operating humidity range of 20 to 90 percent. These LED lights are fully compatible with timers and photo controls. NOT for use with dimmers.
