 This UL Listed 14 watt compact fluorescent bulb has a color temperature of 5000K, also know as day light or full spectrum, and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 84. This daylight lamp simulates the lighting you might see from the sun at noon. It is popular for reading and other tasks where a cooler, brighter light is needed. As a reference point, the warm yellowish glow of an incandescent light that you are used to is about 2700-3000 degrees Kelvin (K) and has a CRI of 100.
The Maxlite SKM14EGDL MiniGlobe G30 Replacement CFL 5000K bulbs fit virtually all fixtures with the standard E26 medium base. They are just 3.5 inches wide and 5.2 inches MOL. They incorporate an electronic ballast for instant-on, flicker free operation. These eco friendly Globe CFL compact fluorescent light bulbs consume just 14 watts of energy and produce the equivalent light output of a 60 watt incandescent bulb (900 lumens).
 These 5000K fluorescent daylight lights are rated for 8,000 hours and carry a 2 year limited warranty. The minimum starting temperature is 0 degreees farenheit and the maximum operating temperature is 100 degrees farenheit. The MaxLite G30 Globe CFL is a great option for use in your attractive outdoor fixtures that operate on dusk to dawn or motion sensors. These bulbs are NOT for use in totally enclosed fixtures and are NOT for use on circuits with dimmers, timers or other control devices.
