They also contain advanced technical innovations which combat the adverse conditions of semi-enclosed, hot, base-up installations. These MaxLite GU-24 cfl light bulbs are just 2.25 inches wide and 4.5 inches MOL. They incorporate an electronic ballast for instant-on, flicker free operation and have an integrated Automatic Shut-off function to protect the lamp. These dimmable cfl bulbs consume just 15 watts of energy and produce the equivalent light output of a 60 watt incandescent bulb (900 lumens ).
