The warm yellowish glow of an incandescent light that you are used to is about 2700-3000 degrees Kelvin (K) . If you like that warmer color of light purchase CFL bulbs around 2700K.
 The versatile Maxlite SKM19ECWW MiniCapsule CFL light bulb fits most fixtures. They are just 3.0 inches wide and 6.3 inches MOL and utilize an E26 medium base. These bulbs are NOT instant on instant bright bulbs. They will take a few extra seconds to come to full brightness. These ENERGY STAR Qualified "green light" compact fluorescent light bulbs consume just 19 watts of energy and produce the equivalent light output of a 75 watt incandescent bulb (1,400 lumens).
These eco friendly decorative cfl bulbs are rated for 8,000 hours and carry a (1) year limited warranty. The minimum starting temperature is 0 degreees farenheit and the maximum operating temperature is 100 degrees farenheit. The MaxLite MiniCapsule CFL is a great option for use in your attractive outdoor fixtures that operate on dusk to dawn or motion sensors.
