The EarthTronics 20 watt dimmable PAR38 Earth Bulb CFL floodlight replaces your 65 watt PAR38 incandescent floodlights giving you 75% energy savings. Savings over the 8,000 hour rated average life eliminates 812 lbs. of CO² from being released into the air and saves $36 in electrical costs (at $0.10kwh). These dimmable flood cfl bulbs offer dimming capability down to 10% of full light output allowing you to set a light level for every task or situation. The soft white color is standard and has an operating range from 0 degrees to 100 degrees fahrenheit. PAR38 dimmable compact fluorescents are great for use in dimming recessed lighting, track lighting and display lighting applications.
This UL Listed 20 watt dimmable cfl PAR38 (direct replacement for your 65 watt PAR38) has a color temperature of 2700K and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 82. The warm yellowish glow
 of an incandescent light that you are used to is about 2700-3000 degrees Kelvin (K) . If you like that warmer color of light purchase dimmable 2700-2850K CFL bulbs. They are just 4.75 inches wide and 6.25 inches tall ( MOL). These compact fluorescent dimmable bulbs incorporate an electronic ballast with the patented Analog Dimming system for Instant On, flicker free continuous dimming throughout the dimming range. The Lead Free lamp glass will not discolor with use, which helps provide excellent lumen maintenance over the life of the lamp. These dimmable cfl light bulbs consume just 20 watts of energy and produce 930 lumens of light output.
These ENERGY STAR Qualified, eco friendly dimmable fluorescent light bulbs are rated for 8,000 hours, are 120 volt, they utilize an E26 medium base and carry a 2 year limited warranty. These dimming cfl bulbs are NOT for use in totally enclosed fixtures and are NOT for use on circuits with timers or other control devices. Outdoor use requires a weather protected fixture.
