 These MaxLite FloodMax compact fluorescent flood bulbs fit in the same fixtures, they have the same ceramic body, and the same high quality hard glass reflectors as their incandescent counterparts. They are good for indoor or outdoor use and they are UL Listed for damp locations.
This 23 watt compact fluorescent flood bulb has a color temperature of 5000K and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 84. A new popular CFL option are the 5000K daylight bulbs, some call a full spectrum cfl bulb. This daylight lamp simulates the lighting you might see from the sun at noon. The warm yellowish glow of an incandescent light that you are used to is about 2700-3000 degrees Kelvin (K) and has a CRI of 100. These MaxLite 23 watt PAR38 cfl light bulbs produce 1200 lumens and they incorporate MaxLite's Amalgam Advanced Technology producing higher lumen maintenance and consistant color across lamps.
 This Maxlite SKR3823FLDL FloodMax compact fluorescent 5000K bulbs fit virtually all indoor recessed can, high hat and ceiling mounted strip lighting fixtures with the standard E26 Edison base. They are just 5.0 inches wide and 6.2 inches tall. They incorporate an electronic ballast for instant-on, flicker free operation. These eco friendly cfl bulbs consume just 23 watts of energy and produce the equivalent light output of a 100 watt PAR 38 incandescent flood lamp.
These 5000K fluorescent energy saving daylight lights are rated for 8,000 hours and carry a 1 year limited warranty. The minimum starting temperature is 0 degreees farenheit and the maximum operating temperature is 100 degrees farenheit. The MaxLite PAR38 Indoor/Outdoor Flood CFL is a great option for use in your outdoor fixtures that operate on dusk to dawn or motion sensors. These bulbs are NOT for use in totally enclosed fixtures and are NOT for use on circuits with dimmers, timers or other control devices.
