This UL Listed, 30 watt daylight compact fluorescent light bulb has a color temperature of 5000K and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 84. As a reference point, the warm yellowish glow of an incandescent light that you are used to is about 2700-3000 degrees Kelvin (K) and has a CRI of 100. A new popular option are the 5000K daylight bulbs, some call a full spectrum cfl bulb. This daylight lamp simulates the lighting you might see from the sun at noon. It is popular for reading and other tasks where a cooler, brighter light is needed.
The Maxlite MLM30SDL MicroMax Spiral CFL 5000K bulbs fit virtually all fixtures. They are just 2.4 inches wide and 5.6 inches MOL . They incorporate an electronic ballast for Instant On, flicker free operation. These eco friendly daylight fluorescent bulbs consume just 30 watts of energy and produce the equivalent light output of a 120 watt incandescent bulb (1920 lumens).
These 5000K fluorescent energy saving daylight lights are rated for 10,000 hours and carry a 1 year limited warranty. The minimum starting temperature is 0 degreees farenheit and the maximum operating temperature is 100 degrees farenheit. The MaxLite MicroMax Spiral CFL is a great option for use in outdoor fixtures that operate on dusk to dawn or motion sensors. These bulbs are NOT for use in totally enclosed fixtures and are NOT for use on circuits with dimmers, timers or other control devices.
