Built with a Heavy-Duty cast aluminum one-piece housing, these high quality LED Wallpacks are your solution where rust and/or corrosion proof outdoor LED lights are needed. This LED surface mount wall pack light fixture has a dark bronze epoxy coating and is sealed to be dirt and bug free. The high quality anti-shock Boran glass lens makes this LED fixture a long life option in applications where the fixture will be exposed to directly to the elements. A replacement for 175 watt metal halide wallpacks, the MaxLite MLSWP40LED50DS (70887) LED wallpack consumes just 40 watts of energy and generates 3050 lumens of 5000K white LED light output. It measures 16.7” long by 13.7” wide by 9.0” high and can mount onto an electrical box or directly to the surface. There are multiple knockouts for mounting convenience and is occupancy or Dusk-to-Dawn sensor compatible.
The LED driver is a Universal Ballast running on 120 Volts through 277 Volts. The LED Driver meets UL 1310 UL 48 class 2. The copper plating in the LED module provides a high thermal transfer rate minimizing junction temperature. The Maxlite MLSWP40LED50DS, Dark Sky LED wall pack has a 50,000 hour rating (determined by
 L70 standards) and carries a 5 year limited warranty. This makes this LED outdoor lighting fixture an efficient replacement for metal halide and high pressure sodium fixtures – while reducing wattage and extending life.
The MaxLite LED Dark Sky (DS) models are fully compliant with Design Lights Consortium (DLC), using NEEP standards. That’s great news for contractors and energy companies. Many utility companies, starting in the New England region, and now virtually all across the country, require Dark Sky compliance for their outdoor lighting programs. By specifying MaxLite WallMax Dark Sky model LED wallpacks (20 Watt, 30 Watt, 40 Watt and 60 Watt), contractors can take advantage of these rebates. The rebates vary from utility to utility, but throughout the country, contractors are receiving from $100.00 to $300.00 per fixture, and up to 70% of project costs up to a maximum rebate of $100,000. Be sure to consult your local utility for specifics on the rebate programs available to you.
