 These UL Listed 5 watt candelabra base decorative replacement compact fluorescent light bulbs have a color temperature of 5000K and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 84. A new popular option of CFL are the 5000K daylight bulbs, some call a full spectrum cfl bulb. This daylight lamp simulates the lighting you might see from the sun at noon. It is popular for reading and other tasks where a cooler, brighter light is needed. The warm yellowish glow of an incandescent light that you are used to is about 2700-3000 degrees Kelvin (K) and has a CRI of 100.
This Maxlite SKC5CDL MiniCandle 5000K bulb fits virtually all fixtures with the E12 candelabra base. They are just 1.5 inches wide and 4.9 inches MOL. They incorporate an electronic ballast for instant-on, flicker free operation. These candelabra base compact fluorescent bulbs are eco friendly lighting products that consume just 5 watts of energy and produce the equivalent light output of a 25 watt incandescent candelabra base bulb (220 lumens).
These decorative cfl candelabra base bulbs are rated for 6,000 hours and carry a 1 year limited warranty. The minimum starting temperature is 0 degreees farenheit and the maximum operating temperature is 100 degrees farenheit. The MaxLite MiniCandle 5000K fluorescent daylight lights are a great option for use in your attractive outdoor fixtures that operate on dusk to dawn or motion sensors. These bulbs are NOT for use in totally enclosed fixtures and are NOT for use on circuits with dimmers, timers or other control devices.
