Meet the energy efficient alternative for your obsolete 175 watt mercury vapor exterior light fixture. The Simkar DTDCFL65 high mount area lights, also known as barn lights or yard lights, come complete with a 65 watt, 5000K, compact fluorescent lamp. The button style Dusk-to-Dawn photo cell is included as well. Energy efficiency and quality components from a high quality lighting source.
Typical applications for the Simkar DTDCFL65 barn lighting, or yard lighting, fixtures include driveways, yards, work areas and parking lots. Typically, these exterior wall lights are secured to garages, sheds, utility poles or farm barns. The 65 watt compact fluorescent lamp (included with the fixture) is self ballasted - no more having to test or guess if you need to replace either the ballast or the lamp.
This exterior light fixture features a 10" acrylic diffuser to cast a wide area light. The dusk to dawn photo cell is a button style and is mounted inside the fixture. This exterior lighting fixture is constructed with a durable die cast aluminum metal housing with a natural finish. The input line voltage is 120V. The operating temperature range is from 0 degrees to 100 degrees farenheit. This area lighting fixture is UL Wet Location rated.
