 MaxLite FloodMax series of high quality compact fluorescent reflector floods are not only technologically superior, they will look great in any application you choose. The MaxLite FloodMax R20 CFL reflector flood integrates advanced technical innovations which combat the adverse conditions of semi-enclosed, hot, base-up installations. These high quality compact fluorescent light bulbs utilize MaxLite's patented Air Gap Technology, their exclusive Advanced Amalgam Technology and higher temperature rated components for greater heat tolerance.
These compact fluorescent flood bulbs fit in the same fixtures, they have the same body, and the same high quality glass reflectors as their incandescent counterparts. These UL Listed 7 watt R20 reflector cfl bulbs have a color temperature of 2600K and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 84. The warm yellowish glow of an incandescent light that you are used to is about 2700-3000 degrees Kelvin (K) and has a CRI of 100.
 They are just 2.5 inches wide and 5 inches MOL and have an E26 medium base. They incorporate an electronic ballast for instant-on, flicker free operation. These Energy Star Qualified CFL reflector light bulbs consume just 7 watts of energy and produce the equivalent light output of a 30R20 incandescent flood bulb (245 lumens).
 These eco friendly cfl bulbs are rated for 8,000 hours and carry a 2 year limited warranty. These bulbs are NOT for use in totally enclosed fixtures and are NOT for use on circuits with dimmers, timers or other control devices.
Typical Applications
Typical applications for a cfl flood light bulb include indoor recessed can, high hat and ceiling mounted strip lighting applications in residential, office, retail, restaurant, school, hospital and hotel/motel locations.
