Meet the energy efficient alternative for your obsolete 175 watt mercury vapor exterior light fixture. The Simkar HPS 70 high mount area lights, also known as barn lights or yard lights, come complete with a 70 watt high pressure sodium (HPS) lamp. The heavy duty twist-lock Dusk-to-Dawn photo cell is included as well. Energy efficiency and quality components from a high quality lighting source.
Typical applications for the Simkar HPS 70 barn lighting, or yard lighting, fixtures include driveways, yards, work areas and parking lots. Typically, these exterior wall lights are secured to garages, sheds, utility poles or farm barns. The fixture come with a 4KV pulse rated mogul socket. Sturdy 24" curved steel mounting arm (1-5/8" diameter) is also included giving you several mounting options.
This exterior light fixture features a 12" linear prismatic acrylic diffuser to cast an even light distribution over a wide area. The dusk to dawn photo cell is a heavy duty twist lock photocell for automatic operation. This exterior lighting fixture is constructed with a durable die cast aluminum metal housing with a natural finish. The input line voltage is 120V. This area lighting fixture is UL Wet Location rated.
