The American Dryer American DR35N is constructed with a one piece, heavy duty, 16 gauge steel cover finished with an electrostatically applied white enamel finish - making it
 resistant to chipping and cleaning agents. Two tamper resistant screws secure the cover to a steel base. The air intake vents are shielded for additional safety. Both the Nozzle and the Push Button are chrome plated zinc die castings. A 360 degree revolving nozzle is standard. The DR35N push button model uses a heavy duty cam-operated timer with oversized electrical contacts for extended life. This hand and hair dryer turns on with a light touch and turns off automatically.
The heating element on the American DR35N is constructed of NiChrome resistance wire with an automatic resetting thermostat. This side mounted heating element operates in the black range for maximum life. The motor is a 1/10 horse power, 3,200 RPM, permanently lubricated, maintenance-free, brushless induction motor with an automatic resetting thermal protector. It operates on 208/240 volt, 50/60 Hertz circuits and draws 10 amps. The DR35N has an Air Flow of 160 CFM and generates an Air Velocity of 5500 Linear Feet per Minute at an Air Temperature of 130-145 degrees Fahrenheit (F) at 72 degrees F Ambient. General Dryer Information
Bathroom air hand dryers should be placed at least 2 feet apart and at least 12” from the washbasin. Do not install the hand dryer over the washbasin. Automatic hand dryers should be at least 18” above any projection which may interfere with the operation of the automatic sensor. Hand dryers require a dedicated circuit (max. 20 amp) and must be properly grounded. One side of the dryer should be mounted to a stud. All surface mount dryers are provided with conduit entrances for both between wall and surface wiring. In an average traffic washroom it is suggested that you install 1 dryer per 2 washbasins, in a heavy traffic washroom install 1 dryer per washbasin and if your facility has a 54” wash fountain install 4 dryers per sink.
