 True Warm White (2700K color temperature ) is difficult and expensive to manufacture in an LED ( Light Emitting Diode ) Light Bulb. Red, green and blue, even blue white, is easier and cheaper, but, these colors are not suitable for general lighting. MaxLite has developed an LED in true warm white and is producing them in globes, candles and R20's for general lighting. The color is consistant, from led lamp to led lamp, and the Lumen Maintainence is maintained for the life of the lamp. Length of life is usually an inconsistent number when discussing LEDs, but, MaxLite will guarantee these LED bulbs for 5 years or 50,000 hours (when the lumen maintenance starts to drop). Until that time, MaxLite LED lighting products maintain lumens and consistant color.
Designed especially for ambient lighting, where multi socket fixtures add to the beauty of a room, MaxLite's innovative LED light bulbs for general lighting are indeed "tiny and bright" and are becoming more mainstream every day. This
 MaxLite SKGCC2.2WWLED (11205) 2700 degrees Kelvin (K) warm white LED light operates on your existing 120V circuit and consumes just 2.2 watts. These LED lights generate the incandescent equivalent of a 15-25 watt bulb and has a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 84.
The SKGCC2.2WWLED Globe bulbs are rated for 50,000 hours. The outer envelope is a decorative globe glass shape and is rated for Indoor or Outdoor applications. These Globe shape LED light bulbs fit all fixtures with the E12 candelabra base. The bulb's dimensions are 2.0 inches wide by 3.5 inches MOL. The minimum starting temperature is zero degrees farenheit. These LED lights are fully compatible with timers and photo controls. NOT for use with dimmers.
