 MaxLite's FloodMax dimmable compact fluorescent bulbs have been designed to work with all dimmers, including incandescent dimmers. It also contains advanced technical innovations which combat the adverse conditions of semi-enclosed, hot, base-up installations. These high quality dimmable compact fluorescent bulbs offer continuous dimming down to 20%, patented Air Gap, MaxLite's exclusive Advanced Amalgam Technology, higher temperature rated components for greater heat tolerance and an integrated Automatic Shutoff function that protects the lamp in the event of high heat build up in your fixture.
 This UL Listed 15 watt dimmable cfl reflector BR30 (direct replacement for your 65BR30) has a color temperature of 2700K and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 84. The warm yellowish glow of an incandescent light that you are used to is about 2700-3000 degrees Kelvin (K) and has a CRI of 100. If you like that warmer color of light purchase dimmable MaxLite 2700K CFL bulbs. They are just 3.75 inches wide and 5.6 inches tall. These cfl bulbs incorporate an electronic ballast for instant-on, flicker free operation and have an integrated Automatic Shut-off function to protect the lamp. These Energy Star Qualified cfl light bulbs consume just 15 watts of energy and produce 600 lumens of light output.
 These eco friendly dimmable fluorescent light bulbs are rated for 6,000 hours and carry a 2 year limited warranty. These bulbs are NOT for use in totally enclosed fixtures and are NOT for use on circuits with timers or other control devices.
