The EarthTronics 13 watt spiral (also called a curly bulb or spring bulb) CFL Earth Bulb replaces your 60 watt incandescent light bulbs giving you 75% energy savings. Savings over the 10,000 hour rated average life eliminates 680 lbs. of CO² from being released into the air and saves $47 in electrical costs (at $0.10kwh). These cfl bulbs offer a soft white color and has an operating range from 0 degrees to 100 degrees fahrenheit. The EarthTronics spiral compact fluorescents are great for use in table lamps, floor lamps, desk lamps, ceiling and wall sconce fixtures, exterior post lamps and exterior coach lamp fixtures.
This UL Listed 13 watt spiral cfl (direct replacement for your 60 watt incandescent) has a color temperature of 2700K and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 82. The warm yellowish
 glow of an incandescent light that you are used to is about 2700-3000 degrees Kelvin (K) . If you like that warmer color of light purchase 2700K CFL bulbs. They are just 4.4 inches tall ( MOL). These compact fluorescent bulbs incorporate an electronic ballast for Instant On lighting. The Lead Free lamp glass will not discolor with use, which helps provide excellent lumen maintenance over the life of the lamp. These cfl light bulbs consume just 13 watts of energy and produce 900 lumens of light output.
These ENERGY STAR Qualified, eco friendly fluorescent light bulbs are rated for 10,000 hours, are 120 volt, they utilize an E26 medium base and carry a 2 year limited warranty. These cfl bulbs are NOT for use in totally enclosed fixtures and are NOT for use on circuits with timers or other control devices.
