Are you looking for compact, high speed, energy efficient hand driers that the generate xtreme air? The new American Dryer gXt9-BG Extreme Air high performance automatic hand dryer is 2-3 times faster than a conventional hand dryer. The ExtremeAir electric hand dryer dries hands completely in 10-15 seconds. This is accomplished with a powerful blast of air that quickly breaks up the layer of surface water on a user’s hands for quick removal and evaporation. The eXtremeAir gXt9-BG also offers you the ultimate in on-site flexibility.
 There are three new Standard Features on the gXt9 series. (1) Adjustable sound and speed control. The new patent-pending technology allows the hand dryer to be adjusted to your preference - providing the perfect balance of speed, energy efficiency and sound. This feature gives you an energy consumption variation from 1500 watts down to only 800 watts per hand dryer! (2) Universal Voltage. The new eXtremeAir gXt9-BG hand driers can be connected to any voltage from 100 to 240 VAC and 50/60 Hz. A seperate circuit is required to operate the gXt9 Series of hand driers. (3) Antimicrobial-Infused air delivery system. This great standard feature offers everyone who uses this industry leading hand dryer better hygiene. While all American Dryer hand dryers eliminate paper towel mess, the eXtremeAir gXt9-BG goes one step further with antimicrobial infused air surfaces.
The American Dryer ExtremeAir gXt9-BG automatic hand dryer is constructed using a virtually indestructible one-piece, 18 gauge steel cover finished with electrostatically applied, chip-resistant black graphite epoxy finish. Two tamper resistant screws secure the
 cover to a steel base. The blower air intake is shielded for additional safety. The automatic sensor (RoHS compliant lead-free design) is a 100% solid-state design that eliminates relay contact failures. The ultra energy efficient microprocessor controlled sensor turns the dryer on when hands are under the outlet for up to 35 seconds. The gXt9-BG dryer turns off when hands are removed. The new motor design lasts up 25% longer and is quieter. The motor produces 5/8 horsepower, operates between 14,000 to 28,000 RPM and has an automatic resetting thermal protector. The gXt9-BG generates an air temperature to 135 degrees Fahrenheit. The heating element has an automatic thermal protector and operates in the black range for maximum life. General Dryer Information
Bathroom air hand dryers should be placed at least 2 feet apart and at least 12” from the washbasin. Do not install the hand dryer over the washbasin. Automatic hand dryers should be at least 18” above any projection which may interfere with the operation of the automatic sensor. Hand dryers require a dedicated circuit (max. 20 amp) and must be properly grounded. One side of the dryer should be mounted to a stud. All surface mount dryers are provided with conduit entrances for both between wall and surface wiring. In an average traffic washroom it is suggested that you install 1 dryer per 2 washbasins, in a heavy traffic washroom install 1 dryer per washbasin and if your facility has a 54” wash fountain install 4 dryers per sink.
