 The MaxLite F32T8/850XL, T8 fluorescent lamps offer a construction above the competition. They utilize Ultra Fine Rare Earth Phosphors - an extremely fine mix producing an even coating on the glass. This generates high lumen maintenance and a higher CRI. These rare phosphors also help to minimize black banding on the lamp.
 The MaxLite T8 fluorescent bulb is TCLP compliant. This T8 light bulb functions on low mercury content and boasts a rated life of 24,000 hours. This UL Listed T8 bulb has a color temperature of 5000K, also know as day light or full spectrum, and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 85. This light simulates the lighting you might see from the sun at noon.
Typical applications for T8 lamps in a 5000K color include commercial and industrial highbay retrofits, office lighting and general flood lighting in retail outlets where superior color distinction, detailed reading and similar tasks require a cooler, brighter light.
