Metal Halide bulbs are a member of the High Intensity Discharge (HID) family of lighting products. Metal Halide bulbs are among the most energy efficient sources of white light available today. These 50 watt metal halide bulbs feature special chemical compounds known as “Halides” that produce light in most regions of the spectrum.
GE Metal Halide light bulbs offer high efficacy, excellent color rendition, long service life and good lumen maintenance. Because of their numerous advantages, metal halide HID bulbs are used extensively in outdoor applications and in commercial interiors.
These GE MXR Metal Halide lamps employ an E26 medium base and are designed with an ED17 bulb. GE MXR50/U/MED (10361) - 50W Metal Halide, Universal Burn, E26 Medium Base Lamps are intended for use in enclosed luminaires. Initial Lumens 3,200, Mean Lumens 2,100, Rated Average Life 10,000 Hours. This MXR50/U/MED bulb functions on the ANSI Ballast Type M110/E. |
