According to the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star Program, lighting consumes 25 to 40 percent of the energy used in commercial buildings. Lighting within buildings accounts for 23 percent of national electrical consumption. This has increased the demand for more energy-efficient lighting selections. Using a Scotopic Lumens formula, a 5000K HighMax can produce a brighter, cleaner, more restful and more accurate light than an HID with higher initial lumens. In more and more job site tests, the clear light of the HighMax with its advantage of instant start, and low maintenance and running costs was chosen over the existing lighting. The HighMax is available in both 2700°K and 5000°K (5000°K only, in the 150 Watt and 200 Watt models), in 120V, 277V and 347V and with either E39 mogul or E26 medium base.
