 When foot candles on the floor are needed to meet your space specifications, the MaxLite aluminum inner-reflector coupled with MaxLite’s HighMax lamp will deliver what’s needed. Designed by MaxLite for the Jacob Javits, New York City retrofit, the combination of lamp and inner reflector is proving itself on other jobs with similarly strict foot candle requirements.
The reflector attaches to the MaxLite bulb, so your existing fixture is unchanged. A true retrofit; there is no outlay on new fixtures. As a bonus, the inner reflector is made of aluminum, so it acts as a giant heat sink, reducing heat within the fixture, and extending the life and the lumens of the HighMax Lamps. The design of the reflector also allows ambient light to fall on the existing acrylic outer-reflector so that it lights up and maintains desired appearance.
Retrofit your existing high bay fixtures today by simply installing a high wattage compact fluorescent bulb along with MaxLite's inner reflector (click here to see the complete HighMax offering). Installation is straightforward, and only involves by-passing the existing HID ballast, wiring direct into the fixture and screwing in the HighMaxes. Your initial investment in fixtures is preserved because the HighMax fluorescent retrofit bulb and the MaxLite inner reflector are installed directly into your fixtures.
