Sylvania ECOLOGIC High Pressure Sodium light bulbs have little or no lead in their glass or bases, and are produced with little or no mercury. Many of these eco friendly products also offer additional features such as energy efficiency and long life, and are packaged using recycled and/or recyclable materials. Sylvania High Pressure Sodium bulbs that are designated as ECOLOGIC pass the U.S. EPA's Toxic Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) test for hazardous waste determination.

Sylvania Lumalux S51 400W LU400/ECO (67533) High Pressure Sodium Lamps are intended primarily for use in enclosed luminaires. Initial Lumens 50,000, Mean Lumens 45,000, Rated Average Life 24,000 Hours Sylvania Ecologic HPS Lampsbased on 10 hours per start, ANSI Ballast Type S51. These Sylvania Lumalux HPS Lamps employ a Mogul Base and are designed with an ET18 bulb.
