This UL Listed, 13 watt GU24 base compact fluorescent light bulb has a color temperature of 5000K and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 84. This light simulates the lighting you might see from the sun at noon. It is popular for reading and other tasks where a cooler, brighter light is needed. The warm yellowish glow of an incandescent light that you are used to is about 2700-3000 degrees Kelvin (K) and has a CRI of 100.
The Maxlite MLR13GUDL (70409) GU 24 base cfl light bulb fits all fixtures with the GU-24 socket. They are just 3.54 inches wide and 5.31 inches MOL. They incorporate an electronic ballast for Instant On, flicker free operation. These eco friendly lighting products consume just 13 watts of energy and produce the approximate equivalent light output of a 60 watt incandescent bulb (480 lumens).
 These GU-24 cfl bulbs are rated for 8,000 hours and carry a 2 year limited warranty. The minimum starting temperature is 0 degreees farenheit and the maximum operating temperature is 100 degrees farenheit. The MaxLite Speciality GU24 lamp is a great option for use in outdoor fixtures that operate on dusk to dawn photocells rated for CFL bulbs. These bulbs are UL Approved for use in totally enclosed fixtures but are NOT for use on circuits with dimmers, timers or other control devices.
