Reduced Jacket Metal Halide lamps come in a variety of sizes from tubular metal halide T15 or ET18 and Eliptical or Blown tube shapes like ED28 bulbs or BT37 bulbs. Metal Halide Reduced Jacket Lamps offer a compact size producing the same light levels as their standard size counterparts.
Metal Halide bulbs are a member of the High Intensity Discharge (HID) family of lighting products. Metal Halide bulbs are among the most energy efficient sources of white light available today. These 400 watt metal halide bulbs feature special chemical compounds known as “Halides” that produce light in most regions of the spectrum.
Sylvania Metal Halide light bulbs offer high efficacy, excellent color rendition, long service life and good lumen maintenance. Because of their numerous advantages, metal halide HID bulbs are used extensively in outdoor applications and in commercial interiors.
Sylvania M400/U/ET18, 400W Metal Halide, ET18 Tubular Reduced Outer Jacket, Universal Burn Lamps are intended for use in enclosed luminaires. Initial Lumens 36,000, Mean Lumens 23,400, Rated Average Life 15,000 Hours, ANSI Ballast Type M59. The physical dimensions of the bulb are 2.25 inches in diameter and the maximun overall length (M.O.L.) is 9.75 inches. These Metal Halide HID light bulbs employ a mogul base and are designed with an ET18 bulb.
