This UL Listed 15 watt daylight compact fluorescent light bulb has a color temperature of 5000K and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 84. The popular new option of compact fluorescent flood bulbs are the 5000K daylight bulbs, some call a full spectrum cfl bulb. This daylight lamp simulates the lighting you might see from the sun at noon. It is popular for reading and other tasks where a cooler, brighter light is needed. The warm yellowish glow of an incandescent light that you are used to is about 2700-3000 degrees Kelvin (K) and has a CRI of 100. These MaxLite FloodMax 15 watt R30 (some call a BR30) reflector floods produce 690 lumens and they incorporate MaxLite's Amalgam Advanced Technology producing higher lumen maintenance and consistant color across lamps.
 These Maxlite SKR315FLDL reflector cfl 5000K bulbs fit virtually all indoor recessed can, high hat and ceiling mounted strip lighting fixtures with the standard E26 Edison base. They are just 3.75 inches wide and 5.6 inches MOL. They incorporate an electronic ballast for instant-on, flicker free operation.
These eco friendly 5000K fluorescent daylight lights are rated for 8,000 hours and carry a 2 year limited warranty. The minimum starting temperature is 0 degreees farenheit and the maximum operating temperature is 100 degrees farenheit. These bulbs are NOT for use in totally enclosed fixtures and are NOT for use on circuits with dimmers, timers or other control devices.
Typical Applications
Typical applications for 15 watt R30 5000K day light bulbs include indoor recessed can, high hat and ceiling mounted strip lighting applications in residential, office, retail, restaurant, school, hospital and hotel/motel locations.
