These compact fluorescent R40 flood bulbs fit in the same fixtures and are designed with the same high quality glass reflectors as their incandescent counterparts. They are good for indoor use and they are CUL Listed .
This 23 watt compact fluorescent light bulb has a color temperature of 5000K and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 82. As a reference point, the warm yellowish glow of an incandescent light that you are used to is about 2700-3000 degrees Kelvin (K) . These Satco 23 watt R40 floods produce 1090 lumens .
These Satco S7243 cfl light bulbs fit most indoor recessed can and high hat lighting fixtures with the standard E26 Edison base. They are just 5.00 inches wide and 6.49 inches MOL. They incorporate an electronic ballast for Instant On, flicker free operation. These eco friendly cfl bulbs consume just 23 watts of energy and produce the approximate equivalent light output of a 85 watt R40 incandescent flood bulb.
These eco friendly cfl flood bulbs are rated for 10,000 hours and carry a 1 year limited warranty. The minimum starting temperature is 0 degreees farenheit and the maximum operating temperature is 100 degrees farenheit. The Satco R40 Indoor fluorescent flood bulb will NOT operate on dusk to dawn or motion sensors. These bulbs are NOT for use in totally enclosed fixtures and are NOT for use on circuits with dimmers, timers or other control devices.
