Simkar fluorescent products meet the "American Recovery and Reinvestment Act" and the "Buy American" requirements placed on certain jobs. All steel and aluminum parts are made in America and all fixtures are assembled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and/or Las Vegas, Nevada.
Green Electrical Supply is proud to offer Simkar fixtures that comply to HPT8 programs. The HPT8 program was initiated by the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE), a national group of utilities, energy conscious organizations and educational programs to identify and promote High Performance T8 products. HPT8 systems are required to be eligible for certain rebate programs. HPT8 ballasts are available in three levels: Low Ballast Factor (<.85) – look for HPL in our part numbers, Normal Ballast Factor (>.85 but < 1.0) – look for HPN in our part numbers and High Ballast Factor (greater than or equal to 1.01) – look for HPH in our part numbers. Consult your local utility to determine if HPT8 products are required for your project to be eligible for rebate programs in your area.
Proudly Made in the USA, the Simkar Reflect-A-Bay linear fluorescent high bay fixtures incorporate attention to quality and detail, offering both T5HO and T8 fluorescent lighting in four, six and eight lamp configurations. Coupled with a wide array of options and accessories, the Simkar Lighting
 high bay lights are the perfect choice for your new installation or retrofit. An energy efficient alternative to 250 watt metal halide, this Simkar REF432-SSR-B11HPL-UNV, 4 light, 32 watt T8 fluorescent light fixture is a great option for retrofitting your facility. The 85% Specular Aluminum reflector distributes the lamp light output in a medium to narrow pattern which is typically utilized in highbay applications. The physical dimensions of the fixture are 3.0" tall by 12.75" wide by 48.0" long. This T8 fluorescent high bay lighting fixture comes with a High Performance Low Ballast Factor 120/277 volt
 electronic ballast. This Simkar Reflect-A-Bay fluorescent high bay fixture carries a (1) year limited warranty.
Choose from 7 different mounting options: from a chain hanger to a center mount slidebox that's great for HID retrofits (all sold seperately). Other optional accessories include a Heavy Duty Wire Guard and an Acrylic Lens (Click here to view the Simkar Reflect-A-Bay Options and Accessories Page).
For lamps, High Performance is a 32 watt, 3100+ lumen lamp that has a life of 24,000 hours based on programmed or rapid start ballasts, 94% lumen maintenance and CRI greater than 81. For lamps with a color temperature greater than 4500K, 2950 initial lumens is acceptable. Lamps are not included and must be ordered seperately.
