The fastest growing application for fluorescent technology today is compact fluorescent lamps. These lamps feature a narrow tube (1/2 to 5/8 inches in diameter) that is doubled back on itself and terminated in a plastic base. Compact fluorescent lamps are small enough to replace incandescent lamps in diffuse source applications and therefore bring the increased efficiency of fluorescent technology to a much larger variety of fixtures. Sylvania DULUX lamps are available in a variety of sizes, wattages and color temperatures for use with external magnetic or electronic ballasts.

 

The Sylvania Dulux CF26DD/E/835/ECO, 26W quad tube (also called a dual tube or double tube) compact fluorescent lamp comes with a 4 pin G24Q-3 base, 3500 color temperature , 82 Color Rendering Index (CRI), 1710 initial lumens, a rated average life of 12,000 hours and has an internal EOL mechanism. The 800 Series Sylvania ECOLOGIC D/E compact fluorescent light bulbs have little or no lead in their glass or bases, and little or no mercury. Many of these products also offer additional “green” features such as energy efficiency and long life, and are packaged using recycled and/or recyclable materials.
