The TCP 9 watt GU 24 base cfl light bulb, item number 33109SP (03149), fits all fixtures with the GU-24 socket. They are just 1.8 inches wide and 3.4 inches MOL. They incorporate an electronic Ballast for instant-on, flicker free operation. These 120 volt 50/60 Hertz GU24 bulbs consume just 9 watts of energy and produce the equivalent light output of a 45 watt incandescent bulb (550 Lumens). These GU24 cfl bulbs have a 10,000 hour average rated life and carry a 15 Month Limited Warranty. The minimum starting temperature is -20 degreees farenheit and the maximum operating temperature is 160 degrees farenheit. The TCP GU24 spring lamp requires an enclosed fixture for outdoor use. This GU24 bulb is not intended for use with emergency exit luminaires or emergency exit lights, photocontrols, electric timers or dimmers.
Typical Applications
Typical applications for a GU-24 spring (also called spiral bulb, twist bulb, twisty bulb or curly bulb) cfl light bulbs include table and floor lamps, recessed lights, corridor light, outdoor lighting and sconce fixtures in residential, office, retail, restaurant, school, hospital and hotel/motel locations.
