Built with World Class phosphor, which insures high lumen output and excellent lumen maintenance, this UL Listed and C-UL Listed, Dimmable 19 watt R40 base compact fluorescent (cfl) light bulb has a Color Temperature of 4100K and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 82. As a reference point, the warm yellowish glow of an incandescent light that you are used to is about 2700-3000 Kelvin (K).
The TCP ProDim series, 19 watt R40 cfl light bulb, item number 2R4019DIM41K, will provide you with uniform and smooth dimming from 100% down to 20% of the total light output. They are just 4.8 inches wide and 6.1 inches MOL. This R40 dimmable cfl incorporates an electronic Ballast for instant-on, flicker free operation and it utilizes an E26 medium base socket. These 120 volt 50/60 Hertz dimmable cfl bulbs consume just 19 watts of energy and produce the equivalent light output of an 85 watt incandescent bulb (900 Lumens). These dimmable cfl bulbs have an 8,000 hour average rated life and carry a 12 Month Limited Warranty. The minimum starting temperature is -20 degreees farenheit and the maximum operating temperature is 160 degrees farenheit. The TCP dimmable R40 bulbs have an intelligent circuit design that automatically turns the bulb off, at a preset position, eliminating low end flicker. As well, the end-of-life circuit design meets EURO IEC and the new UL Standard 1993, 3rd Edition. This circuit shuts the bulb off automatically if it senses any lamp starting issues or end-of-life conditions.
