These revolutionary, dimmable cfl bulbs are designed specifically for use with standard, non-illuminated, 600 watt incandescent slide and rotary dimmers and, of course, the TCP TruDim CFL light bulbs can also be used with dimmers designed specifically for CFLs.
TruDim CFLs act just like incandescent bulbs. This is achieved using TCP's advanced digital chip technology, which maintains superior lamp dimming and lumen output stability. This technology also enables an industry Exclusive low-dim level starting capability - so there is no need to reset the dimmer every time the lights are turned on! Looking for even more performance upgrades? TruDim also improves the starting performance by boosting the CFL's power briefly to increase initial lumen output.  This UL Listed 15 watt dimmable cfl G25 globe (direct replacement for your 60G25) has a color temperature of 6500K and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 82. As a reference point, the warm yellowish glow of an incandescent light that you are used to is about 2700-3000 Kelvin (K).
Multi-level adaptive circuitry provides stable, linear dimming from 100% down to 2%.
This technology features a dimming curve that closely matches the human eye response of incandescent dimming and the superior circuitry design controls low dim starting capability. They are just 3.1 inches wide and 5.2 inches MOL and have an E26 medium base. These cfl bulbs incorporate an electronic programmed rapid start ballast . These cfl light bulbs consume just 15 watts of energy and produce 750 initial lumens of light output. Up to 20 TruDim G25 bulbs can be used on the same dimmer switch. TCP's IC-chip ballast control significantly improves overall lamp life. These eco friendly dimmable fluorescent light bulbs are rated for 12,000 hours and carry a 24 Month Limited Warranty. TCP recommends a burn-in period of 2 hours at full power to stabilize the lamp before dimming. If your lamps have been idle for an extended period of time, turn the lamps on at full power for 30 minutes before dimming. When dimming to the off position, lamps may briefly pulse at the low end and then turn off. This is a safe mode for the lamps and will not hurt the lamp or dimmer. These bulbs are NOT for use in totally enclosed fixtures and are NOT for use on circuits with timers or other control devices. Special Application Note: These dimming cfl bulbs are UL approved for wet location use when used in the base up position ONLY and when installed in UL Wet Location Approved lighting fixtures.
