 These UL Listed 68 watt, 277 Volt CFL, replacement compact fluorescent light bulbs have a color temperature of 2700K and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 82. As a reference point, the warm yellowish glow of an incandescent light that you are used to is about 2700-3000 Kelvin (K) .
This TCP 28968H277 (01762) spring cfl (also called a twisty bulb, curly bulb or spiral bulb) fits fixtures with the larger E39 mogul base socket. They are 4.1 inches wide and 9.8 inches MOL. They are constructed using the NEW amalgam technology which provides cooler operating temperatures for consistant performance in any position. These 277 volt compact fluorescent bulbs are eco friendly lighting products that consume just 68 watts of energy and produce the close equivalent light output of a 300 watt incandescent mogul base bulb (4,200 lumens).
These 277V cfl bulbs are rated for 10,000 hours and they carry a 15 Month Limited Warranty. The minimum starting temperature is -20 degreees farenheit and the maximum operating temperature is 160 degrees farenheit. Do not use this 68 watt mogul base CFL in an enclosed or open recessed can or any type of enclosed fixture as using the bulb in this type of application will void the warranty.
