 Satco's LED series of ballast bypass LED T5 tube lights are here to replace your F54T5/HO fluorescent tubes. LED T5 tubes provide up to 40 percent energy savings over existing fluorescent lamps, a 50,000 hour rated life. You can now utilize Satco's LED technology when replacing T5 fluorescent tubes without a ballast or external driver. In order to install these tubes, you must bypass your current ballast or remove it completely.
This series of Satco LED tube lights has a PET shatterproof coated glass tube. PET stands for polyethylene terephthalate. PET is a transparent, lightweight, strong, and shatterproof that is used for a wide array of product applications. There is no risk of broken glass with these bulbs - making them ideal for food service (in fact they are NSF Approved) applications. Satco's LED T5 ballast bypass tubes eliminate the need for an external driver or ballast and have a 230 degree beam angle and a G5 miniature bi-pin base for your retrofitting needs.
This model is part number S9718 (25T5/LED/46-840/BP), 4000K cool white, consumes just 25 watts of 277 volt energy. Suitable for use in dry or damp locations, these LED T5 replacement tubes are non-dimmable, will produce 3300 Lumens of light output (that's an awesome 132 Lumens Per Watt), has 83 CRI and a rated life of up to 50,000 hours.
