 The HLRMax Hazardous Location family of LED lighting fixtures are suitable for use in a wide range of indoor and outdoor hazardous classified areas as defined by the National Electrical Code (NEC). Available in 8 mounting options and 4 wattages, this versatile family of Class 1 Div 2 LED lighting fixtures can be used on ceiling, pendant, wall and surface applications to replace traditional HID fixtures ranging from 175W to over 400W. The compact and low weight luminaires are safe and easy to use in areas where flammable or explosive vapors or gases are present and in hazardous areas. They are an ideal solution where long life and low maintenance are desired.
This item is the Maxlite HLR80UW50XCG (96419). DLC 4.2 Standard Listed (DLC Product Code PGT869SD), Hazardous Location Class 1 Division 2 (Groups A, B, C and D) and Class 2 Division 2 (Groups F and G), UL844 Listed, UL1598 Listed, UL50E (NEMA 4X) and UL1598A round out the impressive certifications that the HLR80UW50XCG meet. Designed to replace up to 250 watt metal halide or HPS C1 D2 hazardous location lighting fixtures, the 96419generates an impressive 8,350 lumens (an awesome 110 lumens per watt efficacy) of 5000K light. It consumes just 80 watts of 120-277v input power and has a rated life of 65,000 hours (L70 TM21 at 25 degrees Celsius). This Class 1 Division 2 LED lighting fixture has a die cast top hat (also called out as the ballast tank or fixture splice box) that is AC3A copper-free aluminum and the heat sink is also a copper-free aluminum ADC-3T. The HLR80UW50XCG utilizes stainless steel hardware and the lens is a clear, tempered glass (3.2T). This hazardous location LED lighting fixture has a gray powder coat finish. The 96419 is Maxlite's X-Type - which means it is a ceiling, wall or stanchion style mounting system. A pendant mount is factory standard and is integral to the fixture.
