Satco's Shatterproof LED series of ballast bypass LED T5 tube lights are here to replace your F39T5 fluorescent tubes. LED T5 tubes provide up to 40 percent energy savings over existing fluorescent lamps, and a 50,000 hour rated life. You can now utilize Satco's LED technology when replacing T5 fluorescent tubes without a ballast or external driver. In order to install these tubes, you must bypass your current ballast or remove it completely. These T5 LED tube lights can only be used in non-shunted lamp holders.
This series of Satco LED tube lights has a shatterproof coated glass tube and a frosted lens that eliminates pixilation. There is no risk of broken glass because of their PET coating - making them ideal for food service (in fact they are ETL Sanitation Listed NSF/ANSI Standard 2 - Food Equipment) applications. These LED T5 tubes eliminated the need for an external driver or ballast and have a 240 degree beam angle (325 degree visible light angle), frosted lens, and a G5 miniature bi-pin base for your retrofitting needs.
This model has a Power Factor >0.9 and consumes just 16 watts of the universal 120-277 volt energy. Suitable for use in dry or damp locations, these LED T5 replacement tubes are non-dimmable, will produce 1,800 Lumens of light output (that's an awesome 113 Lumens Per Watt), has 80 CRI and a rated life of up to 50,000 hours. The physical dimensions of the T5 LED retrofit are 36 long with a .88" diameter. Note: Though nominally referred to as a T5, this lamp has a T6 diameter. The 3500K or 5000K 16 watt LED T5 tube has been designed to retrofit existing linear fluorescent F39T5 installations, thereby reducing maintenance and energy expenditures in residential, commercial, retail displays, hotel, motel and resort applications and as an energy saving light source for new fixtures and installations.
