These Sylvania Compact Metalarc Metal Halide Reduced Jacket lamps employ an E26 medium base and are designed with a E17 clear bulb. This product is the Sylvania M175/U/MED (64479) This MH Bulb consumes 175 watts, and operates in the Universal Burn position. The Reduced Jacket (or compact) allows the lamp to operate in a reduced fixture profile. These metal halide light bulbs are intended primarily for use in enclosed luminaires. The Initial Lumens are 14,400, while the Mean Lumens are 9,300. This high intensity discharge lamp is rated for an average life of 10,000 Hours when burned in the Vertical (V) position, with an ANSI Type of M57/E.
