Because of their numerous advantages, metal halide HID light bulbs are used extensively in outdoor applications and in commercial interiors.
Satco HyGrade MP250/ED28/PS/BU/4K 250W Metal Halide, Base Up Only Lamps are open fixture rated, which means they can be used in open or enclosed luminaires. These HID bulbs come with a 4200K cool white color temp, Initial Lumens 23500 and Rated Average Life 15,000 Hours , ANSI Type M153/O. These Satco High Intensity Discharge Metal Halide HID light bulbs employ an extended Mogul Base and are designed with a clear ED28 bulb. This is a possible replacement for Venture Lighting MP 250W/BU/UVS/PS/740 (64658).
