This model is the Juno IC1, 4" IC-Rated New Construction Incandescent recessed downlight with a pre-wired junction box provided with (5) 12 and (1) 34 knockouts. As the IC1 is compatible with an incandescent dimmer switch, this downlight will offer the "designer-look" that perfectly complements many of today's upscale residential interiors. Offered in new construction and remodel recessed can styles, they are approved for use in both insulated and non-insulated ceilings. Juno's Down-Lites IC1 series has all of the easy-installation features that they are famous for.
The Juno IC1 ceiling light fixture is an energy efficient Air Loc® sealed double wall housing and can be completely covered with insulation. The Air Loc installation stops infiltration and exfiltration of air, further reducing heating and air cooling costs without the need of a separate gasket. The Juno IC1, 4" new construction housings are supplied with the Juno Real Nail 3® bar hanger system which permits quick housing placement anywhere within 24" on center joists or suspended ceilings. This hanger system also features captive bugle head nails that are easily removable for quick housing repositioning without changing the bar hanger or nail. For suspended ceilings, the integral T-bar notch can be used to secure the housing onto the ceiling grid - no accessory clips required. The 4 Universal Housing with medium base made of porcelain and nickel-plated copper screw shell comes fully assembled for easy installation.
Once installed, your Juno incandescent recessed can light is compatible with a broad range of existing Juno 4" trims to match virtually any designed application. The Juno IC1 is UL listed for U.S. and Canada for through-branch wiring Damp and wet locations rated with select trims, Union made in the USA UL and cUL.
