The color selectable 4 inch Wafer LED is an ultra-thin recessed downlight with a narrow remote driver box for applications with shallow ceiling plenum. The Wafer LED is a comprehensive recessed downlight - the pot light housing is not necessary - making them ideal for confined, hard to reach spaces such as closets, bathrooms, hallways, stairwells and outside soffits and other areas that would be challenging with a traditional recessed downlight housing. The aluminum die cast outer frame has a durable, powder coat paint to prevent rust. Each 4" fixture incorporates integral edge-lit LED's and this down light edge-lit LED technology uses a light guided plate to distribute the light. A polycarbonate lens provides even illumination throughout the space.
