This TCP spring cfl (also called a twisty bulb, curly bulb or spiral bulb) fits fixtures with an E26 medium base socket. They are 2.8 inches wide and 7.0 inches MOL. The minimum starting temperature is -20 degrees Fahrenheit and the maximum operating temperature is 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not use this 42 watt medium base CFL in an enclosed or open recessed can or any type of enclosed fixture as using the bulb in this type of application will void the warranty.
