DIRECT REPLACEMENT:  80 Watt 120-277V 180 Degree Beam Shoe Box LED HID Retrofit with Smart Port

Available in two wattages, Satco's Hi-Pro LED Series of 180 degree beam angle Shoe Box LED Retrofit Lamps (also called out as an LED corn light or corn bulb) are a convenient and energy-efficient solution for replacing traditional high-pressure sodium and metal halide sources in enclosed shoe box parking lot area lighting fixtures. Both the 80 and 110 watt models are available with an E39 mogul screw base. They are an ideal retrofit solution for your 250 watt or 400 watt metal halide or HPS outdoor security lighting such as shoebox area lights or flood fixtures. This series of Satco LED retrofit bulbs requires your current fixture ballast to be by-passed or totally removed from the circuit. The color temperatures for the complete series are warm white 3000K.

Here are Satco's LED retrofits that are suitable for totally enclosed flood, shoe box and other typical HID fixtures where a 180 degree beam angle retrofit LED bulb is preferred. Part number S8931 (80W/LED/HID/SB/3K/E39/100-277V) consumes just 80 watts of 120 to 277 volt 60 Hz energy and is designed to replace up to 250 watt Metal Halide (MH) or High Pressure Sodium (HPS) bulbs. This non-dimmable LED light bulb, an LED Site, Roadway or Shoe Box lighting retrofit option, will produce 10,000 Lumens of 3000K light output, has a CRI of 85 and a rated life of up to 50,000 hours. 

The design of these bulbs is way cool!! There are three "panels" of LEDs on each bulb (you can see them when you enlarge the product photo above). Once the bulb is installed in your fixture, simply rotate the body of the bulb to direct the LED light output directly out of the fixture. Then, just flip the right and the left "panel" of LEDs down to give you 100% down light. These LED bulbs will give you a 180 degree beam angle and the screw-in E39 Mogul base mounting easily integrates energy saving LED technology into your standard site lighting, flood light or wall pack lighting format. This LED lighting retrofit is built with solid state technology which requires no fans or moving parts. The Satco LED 3000K warm white LED retrofit is 8 11/16 long. Please NOTE: When retrofitting LED to an HID fixture, the ballast must be by-passed or removed from the fixture. Additionally, by-passing the ballast will insure no RFI interference.
