The Satco 80-1855, 277 Volt, smooth phenolic with ring, Self-Ballasted socket adapter. This socket adapter converts your existing GU24 bi-pin fixture socket to a 13 watt 4-pin G24q-1 or GX24q-1 socket. Use this light bulb socket adapter to change your current GU 24 base socket to one that will accept a single 13 watt 4 pin quad tube (also called a dual tube or double tube) PL lamp. This socket adapter is a self-ballasted unit.

This UL Listed socket adapter integrates a 3 Step Safety Design. Simply turn the locking device on the ballast housing to position (1) and secure the adapter into your existing GU24 socket. Set the locking device on the ballast housing to position (2) and install the bulb. Simply twist the bulb and locking device to position (3) to lock the bulb in place. To change bulbs, you just need to twist the existing bulb and locking device on the ballast housing to position (2) to remove the bulb and install a new bulb. Twist the bulb and locking device to position (3) to relock.

This adapter is suitable for indoor use, has a reliable operating temperature range of 0-100 degrees Fahrenheit and is NOT for use with dimmers or other control devices. The height of this GU24 base socket adapter is 2.0" MOL.
