The Topaz Remote Control for 12V Occupancy Sensors (Model F-LUHB/RC/G3, Order Code T72725) is the required accessory for unlocking the full programmability of Topaz 12V PIR occupancy sensors. One remote is needed per project, and it gives installers and facilities managers complete on-site control over fixture behavior — without any wiring changes or software tools required.
Using the remote, you can fine-tune four key parameters directly at the fixture. Brightness during the hold time is adjustable in four steps (70%, 80%, 90%, or 100%), while detection sensitivity can be set to cover 20%, 50%, 75%, or 100% of the sensor’s full detection area — useful for tailoring coverage to the specific geometry of a space. The daylight threshold setting determines the ambient light level above which the fixture will switch off and remain off regardless of motion, with options ranging from a Moon icon (very low threshold) through 10, 30, 50, 100, 300, and 500 LUX up to a Sun icon for bright outdoor environments.
The remote also controls standby dimming behavior after the hold period expires. The standby dimming level can be set to 0%, 10%, 30%, or 50% — with 0% effectively turning the fixture off — and the standby dimming period can be configured from 1 minute up to 60 minutes, or set to run indefinitely.
