Satco's tubes are ballast bypass which eliminates the need for an external driver or ballast, while still using the existing sockets. The Satco LED Sign Tubes feature a 90 degree rotatable R17d base for correct lamp orientation in vertical or horizontal installations, regardless of how the socket was originally installed. This tube is two-sided so it can light up single sided or double sided signs. The optical lenses that cover each individual LED chip in the tube eliminates hot spots and ensures a consistent light distribution across both faces of the sign. This item is Satco's 108" (9 Foot) color selectable LED sign tube, part number S16441, replacing S16422 and S16423. These LED retrofit tubes DO NOT require an external LED driver. The existing ballast must be bypassed. The tubes delivers 5,800 lumens of 4000K cool white, 6,000 lumens of 5000K daylight or 5,700 lumens of 6500K daylight color temps and run on the universal voltage of 120-277V. This tube consumes just 42 watts, for a range of 135-142 lumens per watt. Now that is efficiency! This product has a CRI of 83 and measures 105.81" MOL by 1" MOD, to fit your sign applications.
