Halco's ProLume Pulse Start lamp and ballast systems consume less energy compared to standard Metal Halide systems, all while providing the same lumen output. They boast better light quality than both High Pressure Sodium and Mercury Vapor lamps. Metal halide light bulbs are a member of the High Intensity Discharge (HID) family of lighting products. These 150w metal halide light bulbs feature special chemical compounds known as Halides that produce light in most regions of the spectrum.
Halco's ProLume MP150/U/MED/PS (108272) Metal Halide light bulbs offer high efficacy, excellent color rendition, long service life and good lumen maintenance. Because of their numerous advantages, metal halide HID light bulbs are used extensively in outdoor applications and in commercial interiors.
Halco ProLume MP150/U/MED/PS M102/O 150W Metal Halide, Universal Burn Lamps have a quartz glass shroud for open luminaires but may also be used in enclosed luminaires. The E26 based lamps are made with a narrow neck. These Halco Metal Halides have additional UV protection, and are unaffected by ambient temperature, so they are suited for indoor and outdoor use. These Protected Pulse Start HID bulbs come with a 4000K cool white color temp, Initial Lumens 13,300 and Rated Average Life 15,000 Hours when burned in the Universal (U) position, ANSI Type M102/O. These Halco High Intensity Discharge Metal Halide HID light bulbs employ a E26 medium base and are designed with an ED17 bulb.
