This Duro Dyne cable hanger kit includes one CL12-WC3 (KL100) Kwik-Loc cable locks. Introduced to work on most light hanging applications, the CL12-WC3 (KL100) can be used to hang fluorescent fixtures, speakers, busbar and cable tray, to name a few. The CL12-WC3 (KL100) has a one-piece die cast Zinc type Zamac 5 housing combining major anti-corrosion properties with strength and consistent manufacturing quality. The key components to this revolutionary cable lock are the internal locking wedges. An oil impregnated, sintered steel locking wedge is seated in each of the two channels.
Both wedges incorporate a release pin for easy adjustment. Each wedge makes contact with the wire rope using serrated teeth. These teeth press onto the wire rope and spread the load across the length of the wedge, maximizing grip strength. Each spring within each CL12-WC3 (KL100) is manufactured of type 302 S26 stainless steel. All Kwik-Locs have been tested, and are UL Listed to UL 1598 and are listed under file number E246601. The straight, single loop hanger assemblies are built using 3/32 inch diameter 7x7 strand galvanized steel. The galvanized steel wire rope, supplied by Duro Dyne, is manufactured to exacting standards and statistically tested to verify breaking strength.
