At the heart of the kit is a long-life, maintenance-free rechargeable NiCad battery that delivers a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency operating time across the full temperature range. The driver provides 1,600 lumens of output and features electronic short/overcurrent limiting that automatically resumes normal operation once a fault is cleared. Surge protection per C62.41 (TVS), a fusible-link input overcurrent protector, and Class 2 compliant output round out the electrical protection package, while the battery reaches a full charge within 24 hours.
The housing is constructed from injection-molded, engineering-grade thermoplastic rated 5VA flame retardant and high-impact resistant, finished in black.
