Since 1978, most buildings within California are required to meet minimum energy efficiency standards contained in Title 2, Part 6 of the California Code of Regulations. This legislative helps to reduce California's energy consumption. These standards are updated periodically. Joint Appendix JA8 is a high efficacy qualification requirement for residential luminaires using an LED light source, based on the LEDs efficacy, or lumens per watt. Not only will these JA8 compliant LED bulbs meet your state codes, but they will also give you exceptional lighting in a low wattage application.

This is Maxlite's 10G25DLED927/JA8 (1409460), a JA8 certified Title 24 compliant LED G25 globe light bulb with a Medium E26 Base. This globe light is ideal for providing high-quality lighting for globe, vanity, and decorative fixtures throughout homes and hospitality applications. These are perfect for over the mirror bathroom lights, dressing room lights, and vanity dresser lights. This LED globe light consumes 10 watts, while replacing 100 watt incandescent, resulting in up to 90 percent energy savings. The Maxlite JA8 LED G25 globe light provides 800 lumens (an efficacy of 80 lpw) with a CRI of 92 in a 2700K Warm White. This LED light bulb is dimmable down to 10% (see below for a list of compatible dimmers) and has a rated life of 25,000 hours and a 5 year limited warranty. This LED globe is NOT for use in enclosed fixtures.

Not only is this LED globe light bulb JA8 Listed and Title 24 Compliant, but also it is ENERGY STAR certified and cULus rated for damp locations.
