MaxLite's LED Ballast Bypass T8 U-Bend lamp is an energy-saving, long-lasting replacement for fluorescent tubes in T8 U-bend troffers, including fully enclosed luminaires and they require no ballast or external driver to use. They use a direct wire 120-277V line voltage but can only be installed into non-shunted lampholders. These T8 LED U-Bend tube lights consist of single-ended wiring with a Medium Bi-Pin G13 base.
This item is the DLC Listed, MaxLite LED Ballast Bypass T8 U-Bend Tube Light, part number 1409562 or U15.5T8SE240. The lamp is designed with an ultra-compact light engine that distributes 1,850 lumens of high quality light using an extra wide 240 degree beam angle. An integral driver is stored within the lamp's cap to optimize thermal performance and eliminate dark spots, producing bright, even illumination that runs continuously from end to end of the U-shaped tube. The lamp is built with a shatterproof, polycarbonate lens that enhances safety in healthcare and food service applications. This model consumes just 15.5 watts of 120-277V energy and generates an initial 1850 lumens of light output. This means this tube light produces a total of 119 lumens per watt. This LED T8 tube light generates 4000K Cool White, 80 CRI light. The 1409562 operates at a temperature of -4°F to 113°F (-20°C - 45°C). This tube light is rated for 50,000 hours and has a 5 year limited warranty. The product dimensions are 22.44" (MOL) by 7"(Wide). This tube requires NON-SHUNTED medium bi-pin 2G13 sockets. Please note: The ballast must be by-passed or removed from the fixture.
